Returns Policy Overview

East Coast Custom Golf Carts wants you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase.

You may return new, unopened items within 5 days of delivery for a full product refund. Items must be returned in their original product packaging.

The item returned must be in its original product packaging and cannot be disassembled or damaged by incorrect installation and must be in 100% resalable condition. We are in no way responsible for installation errors.

Any returned item that has been removed from its original packaging may be subject to a 25% restocking fee at our discretion

All Returned Items

  • Before you return an item you must call us & get Return Material Authorization (RMA) number
  • Any item being returned must have a pre-authorize Return Material Authorization (RMA) form included with the return
  • A Return Material Authorization (RMA) number is not a GUARANTEE of Credit.
  • Returned product(s) must be boxed with the sufficient packing to protect the contents. Products damaged due to your poor packing will NOT be accepted for credit or refund.
  • All returned items must be shipped via a standard regular ground delivery method. NO NEXT DAY, 2 or 3 DAY shipments will be accepted.

Items that are Damaged

  • If your package arrives damaged, report it to the Delivery Service immediately or refuse delivery of the package. If the carrier has damaged the package in transit, they are liable and will return the package to us at no cost to you.
  • If the package appears to be intact, but an item inside has been damaged during transit, you have 3 business days to report it to us so that we can file a damage report.

Return Shipping Charges

  • Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
  • All returned shipments must be insured to the item(s) full value
  • Returned product(s) must be boxed with the sufficient packing to protect the contents.
  • We will refund the return and/or original shipping charges at our sole discretion if :
  1. The item shipped was not the item on your invoice
  2. Any item being returned damaged or defective that we feel may have left our facility in that condition
  3. The manufacturer has agreed to replace the item at no charge

 

You should expect to receive your refund within 2-3 weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Items that are Not Returnable

We do not accept returns of the following items:

  • Electrical parts are not returnable if once installed or connected to a power supply. This includes, but is not limited to electric motors, electronic speed controllers, all switches of any type, solenoids and relays, radios, stereos, speakers, LED or incandescent lights, electronic circuitry, charge indicators, battery chargers, gauges, horns, speedometers, diodes, coils, ignitors, voltage regulators, and starter generators, unless covered by a expressed written manufacturers warranty. We extend no warranty on electrical or electronic components beyond the manufacturers own written factory warranty.
  • Wheels & Tires are not returnable unless they have an obvious manufacturers defect. Please note: We carefully inspect all wheels & tires before they leave our facility.
  • Any item that has obvious signs of use
  • Special order or Custom products are non-returnable, UNLESS damaged in transit.
  • Items that are classified as hazardous materials or use flammable liquids or gases, aerosol cans, hardware, manuals, custom products and batteries.
  • Any product missing the serial number or UPC
  • Downloadable software products
  • Gift cards and gift certificates

Exchanges and Return Process

If you received a faulty item and need to exchange or return it, visit your Account Page (you must be logged in) to begin the process.

Please note that it takes us up to 7 business days to process returns once they arrive at our Returns Center. You can view completed returns and refunds by visiting Your Account and accessing the relevant order summary.
